This story tackles the concept of Monika losing her ability to manipulate the files of the girls from the start and her omniscience from within the game. With Monika’s influence removed, the girls naturally build the negative aspects of their personalities, leaving MC to make choices that leave lasting impacts on the group. At the end, Monika’s omniscience will be restored and will allow her to see what sort of reality they can create from within the game. Finally, the player will be given the option to either allow Monika to enter the real world or to have her remain in the realm of the game. “Force of Reality” demonstrates how, unlike DDLC, every decision made has lasting consequences and ramifications.
